This company is a scamming middle man. First of all, they are unnecessary in the process of shipping a car. What they do is advertise your car to all the car shippers out there and take the lowest bid. For their services, you pay a large price, in my case $350.00. The shipper that ended up moving my vehicle told me to contact him/his company directly next time I need to move a car and save that money I would have paid to these jokesters. The MOST frustrating part of working with Amerifreight was that I purchased the $78.00 AFta plan gap coverage, which is supposed to cover the cost of any damage to your car during transport. To file a claim and receive the benefits of this plan several documents are required (bill of landing and damage report at pick up and drop-off signed by the shipper and owner). When my car was being delivered I asked for these documents and the shipper informed me that these documents DO NOT EXIST!!! This is a scam just so Amerifreight can take more of your money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, CONTACT THE SHIPPERS DIRECTLY.
