I was a first time auto shipper. Based upon BBB and Transport Reviews, I narrowed down the field to 3 brokers. Raechel took the time to answer my questions. I really liked the flexibility in AmeriFreight's pricing as this made the shipping cost very affordable. I chose the Economy Saver Shipment option since there wasn't any urgency to get the car to its' destination.
Once the availability of my auto was posted, 5 days passed with no drivers interested in the initial price. As per the AmeriFreight contract, they added $50 of their money to the shipping price, and by Day 6 after I signed the contract, a driver was found.
The dispatcher, Julie, from MG Motors, LLC was very helpful and she coordinated the pickup by the driver Michael to accommodate to my schedule. The car was picked up on a Sunday. We carefully noted any existing dents/ scratches, and Michael even noticed a dent I had never seen before. The driver stated the estimated delivery would take 7 days. Despite a delay due a needed truck repair, the car was delivered the following Friday (6 days). Had there been no need for repair, the car would have been delivered Wednesday or Thursday. There was no damage to the vehicle.
I would use both AmeriFreight and MG Motors for any future auto transport needs
