I did a lot of research on brokers before narrowing it down to 3, with AmeriFreight being among them. In the end, pricing was similar (+/- $100) so it came down to who I thought was more straightforward and honest, looking out for my best interests when it came to finding a carrier. Harry Davis at AmeriFreight helped me find an interstate trucking carrier but he wasn’t just trying to find anyone to move my newly purchased car. He told me from the start that the quote was an estimate, and when I agreed to go ahead to post, he came back with an actual cost that was within the expected range and proposed a carrier that was based out of the area where my car was headed. Harry was helpful in answering my insurance/claim and payment questions and even answered a text over the weekend when the car was being picked up. In this transport industry, with so many brokers essentially doing the same thing, some using sales pressure or low cost estimates, or just selecting any trucking company to get it done, it becomes a relief to work with someone who doesn’t do any of these, just a straight up good guy who coordinated the transport of my car from CA to WA at an acceptable cost, with a reliable trucking company, and was easy to reach.
