This is my first time shipping my car, so I did a research online and find out that AmeriFreight has a good review. And after comparing several companies, I also found out that the price and service they provide is unbeatable. I am moving from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to the bay area in California.
The total price for me is $830, after they add 50 to it as there was no carrier for the first 5 days. I was a little bit unhappy about this at first, but their customer service called me and tried their best to find another carrier with an increase of $50.
One thing I like about it is that it's door to door pickup, so I don't need to ask someone to drive me for a long way to get the car. And also, for movement, I could put some of my clothes in the trunk, which save me some trouble.
