We are sorry to hear that the customer was disappointed with his shipment. The customer shipped at our Select rate, which guarantees a pickup and delivery date. We secured a Preferred carrier that could guarantee the dates the customer needed. In talking with the customer, we understand now that the customer wanted to be able to make a one time payment for the total amount. Unfortunately, since we and the carrier are two separate companies, the amount must be paid in two installments. The customer should have called AmeriFreight to assist him with any status updates, but he did not. He chose to go directly through the carrier. Once a carrier is secured every customer gets information to assist them through the remainder of the shipment: including payment methods and shipping procedures. Our staff is always available to assist a customer before, during, and after shipment.
