As good as can be expected

We were a little surprised to sign an agreement for a specified amount and then get an email/call a couple of days later asking if we wanted to pay more for a given carrier. When I sign an agreement for a specified amount and time frame, I don't expect to be asked for more just to execute on the basic agreement. I would have appreciated a little more customer friendly approach. We wanted to send our car no earlier than a certain date and no later than another but that seemed hard for them to comprehend or even make an effort to accomodate. Perhaps this is how it works with ALL car moving companies and my expectations are too high, but the time from order to pickup was longer than I would have liked for the money we were paying.

All that said, our vehicle arrived in a reasonable time frame from the time it was picked up to the time it was delivered, and there was no damage. So in the end, we are satisfied with the end result. There could have been a little better communication throughout the process though.

We are sorry to hear that the customer did not understand the Economy rate. Upon placing the order our shipping agents explain each shipping rate option. This customer chose the Economy rate. The Economy rate is an estimated pick up window with the possibility that a carrier may request additional money. The Economy rate is ideal for those who are not working with any time constraints and want to save from paying premium price. Whenever a carrier requests additional money, the customer always has the option to decline the offer and AmeriFreight will continue working to secure a carrier at the quoted rate. If AmeriFreight does not secure a carrier within 3 weeks, the customer can cancel their order andl recieve a full refund of his deposit. We are happy to hear that the customer recieved his vehicle in good condition.
