My mom had too many cars, so she sent us one. We contacted Amerifreight to deliver take the car across country. We were flexible with the time. Amerifreight had originally contracted the delivery with one carrier, but changed it because of a legal issue. The original carrier didn't have the required insurance, so they canceled their contract with them, and found a different carrier. I appreciated that they were upfront about it, and like I said, we were flexible. The next carrier picked up the car- they made my mom drive two minutes away because they said that the big truck wouldn't make it through the residential streets. It wasn't that big of a deal. They told my mom that it would take 4-5 days to deliver the car. It ended up being 7 days. The carrier brought the car directly to the house- not with the truck though. They parked the truck about 10 miles away and drove the rest of the way to my house. Again, it was ok with us. Amerifreight, for its part, called several times to let us know what was going on, and they called after the delivery to make sure everything worked out fine. So we can recommend this company.

Before we contracted with them to deliver the car, we had contacted 7-8 similar services. Amerifreight ended up being the least expensive- which was the main reason why we chose them. They want to do the right thing and only select carriers that had the right paperwork, and they followed up to make sure everything was ok. In short, good service, good price.
