After researching multiple moving companies for our military cross-country move online, my husband and I decided on AmeriFreight. We were given a quote by email, and when I called the actual company my representative, Rachael, was extremely helpful. Our original quote was for just over $700, but we did increase that price by approx $250 to guarantee delivery. To have our car by a specific date vs a window of time it was the right decision for our family. It was very nerve wracking working on such a large cross-country move, but Rachael made the experience quick, helpful, and if you can believe it...stress free!!! We were able to assign a delegate when our car was picked up (as we were on our honeymoon) so the stress of that was taken off of us as well. We routinely received calls to make sure we were happy with the progress, which eased my mind as I knew we were in their for-front thoughts. Anytime I or my husband had questions I never hesitated to call Rachael. Once once did I not speak with her immediately, and she returned my call within a few short hours. When the car arrived there was no damage, just a little dirtier than when it left Oregon, but on an open carrier I should have expected that. After having our car back for a few days in CT, I was again contacted by AmeriFreight to see how the process ended up. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the company, Rachael specifically, and we would not hesitate to use them for our future moves, as I'm sure we will have them being a military family. I have also recommended their services to others we know are moving soon to the area.
