Like most people, I was shipping a car for the first time. I went to an internet site that promised quotes from multiple haulers within 24 hrs. I received these quotes and called 4 of them to ask questions and re-affirm the quoted price. I ended up being even more confused and definitely more wary as I realized that many of these 'companies" are simply one man shows with a phone and an internet connection. I was concerned that my car was going in to a black hole with little reassurance that I would be properly communicated with or compensated if an issue developed. I found a website where customers provided reviews of companies they had used. AmeriFreight was listed multiple times and always with a good review.
I called AmeriFreight and was extremely pleased with every aspect of the transaction. The price quoted was fair, the pickup date was within the time quoted, and the delivery time was to the day. I even got a follow up call from the driver after he had dropped the car off to my daughter.
Needless to say; I highly recommend AmeriFreight.
