I needed to ship my car from California to Maryland. I was in no rush, so I opted for the Economy Saver Rate. The first contact person was Jonathan. He walked me through the process (ie. what to expect, documents needed, fees/payments, etc) and I finalized the shipment order. He explained that it should take about 5 business days for my car to get picked up by a carrier.

When my car was still not picked up by a carrier on the 5th business day, Amy (the manager) contacted me. She explained the situation and informed me that AmeriFreight will pitch in $50 dollars more to speed up the process and motivate a carrier to pick-up my car. She explained that the added incentive usually does the trick, but also gave me the choice to cancel my order without penalty if I wanted to. I opted to stay with AmeriFrieght since I saw that they are doing their best to ship my car.

Sure enough, a few days later Red called me to let me know that a carrier agreed to pick up my car. However, the carrier wanted an additional $20.00 added on to the cost. I agreed to pay $20 extra to speed things along. Red explained to me how the process will work and what I'll need to do.

Overall, AmeriFreight exceeded my expectations. They always returned calls and were always available to answer any questions. I will definitely recommend them to others. For now, I'm hoping that the carrier is just as good as they are.
