AmeriFreight itself was a great company. They had great customer service and David helped me out alot.
But as far as using transport companies that have a 97% satisfaction rating I'm not so sure about. If you get a bid from UZ Transport please decline it. They never called me once they put the bid in for my truck to tell me what time they would be picking up my truck. I ended up calling them and they told me they would be there at 6pm and 2 hours after that they finally showed up.
When they finally showed up it was obvious they knew nothing about the truck (a ford excursion). Its a huge truck and he saw it and was worried it wouldn't. HELLO DON'T MAKE A BID IF YOUR TRAILER WONT HOLD IT!!! Thankfully it fit.
Once he was done getting the truck on the trailer he told us he would be dropping the truck off at midnight the next day and would call us when he was halfway there and when he was getting close. So bout 10 pm my husband calls him to see where they are and apparently they were still in Colorado (10 hours away) and he also said that he had called me earlier and wouldn't be there till 2morrow. I hadn't even talked to the guy since we left Colorado. But he tells us he'll call us around 10 the next morning to tell us what time he would be there. We didn't get a call. Yet again we had to call him and he was 6 hours away in Lubbock. At least he gave us a time when he would show up and they actually showed up on time...but not at the house. I had to drive around to find the guy and then have him follow me to the house.
Oh and not to mention he was dressed very unprofessionally. He had a shirt on that he had cut the sleeves off, shorts that were all torn up and had paint all over them and flip flops. And when he showed up with my truck he was wearing the same exact clothes. Come on guy at least change your clothes and look a little bit professional.
AT LEAST THE TRUCK SHOWED UP WITH NO DAMAGE!!! AND THANKFULLY I NEVER HAVE TO SHIP MY TRUCK AGAIN!!!!
