This was my first experience shipping a car, and with the distance this one needed to travel I wanted to be cautious. I selected Amerifreight based on their five-star customer ratings and their BBB profile. Dave handled everything promptly by e-mail, and later during shipment kept us updated through the dispatcher.
The car was picked up two days after I first contacted Amerifreight, and was delivered in California four days later. Both pick-up and delivery were much faster than I had expected. The car arrived with no visible damage, and only slightly dirty from the cross-country trip, as would be expected for this long a drive.
The transport company selected by Amerifreight were professional and careful, and they called ahead of pickup and delivery for coordination.
I would recommend Amerifreight without hesitation and if I ever ship a car again they would be the first company I would consider. They have earned the high ratings their customers give them. I found other brokers online who would charge slightly less, but when checking some of them out through Transport Reviews found their customer ratings so low as to explain the lower price. Amerifreight's price was in line with all other top-rated brokers, and fair considering the quality service they provided.
