Used AmeriFreight based on BBB rating and other customer feedback. I was happy to get the vehicle delivered for the quoted price of $595 when others were quoting me up to $700.
Pickup was about 3-4 days after posting and delivery was about 2 days after pickup. We shipped vehicle from one relative in CO to another relative in IN. There was major pre-existing scrape on the wheel which apparently did not get documented on pre-shipment inspection sheet. (The pickup driver was in a hurry and had trouble loading the vehicle on the trailer straight.) My sister received the shipment at our friends house and asked to document the damage to the wheel not knowing it was pre-existing and not seeing a disclosure of damage on the inspection sheet the driver called my sister a stupid B****. Ucar Trans Inc, Elk Grove Village, IL was the driver employer. Ucar was very apologetic and claimed they would investigate by speaking with the driver and speaking with my sister but we have yet to receive any call from Ucar. I don't hold this against AmeriFreight. They did their best to move my car for a fair price. I would use them again but I might ask that Ucar be excluded from choice of carriers.
