Our car was ultimately shipped by Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS), and we weren't thrilled with their service. Firstly, we were asked to pay an additional amount above the agreed price for the car to be picked up. We had the option to decline the additional fee, but there was no guarantee as to when the next pick-up could be. The car arrived early, which would have been fine, but we were not notified until the day before that the car would arrive. I was told that their on-line tracking system had a glitch, but it was still difficult and embarassing to have to make arrangements at the last minute. Additionally, we found some items were taken from the car - sunglasses, a blanket we had in the trunk, etc. Not a terribly big deal, but still disappointing.
I found the service by Amerifreight to be helpful and courteous, however, and would not be opposed to using them again, hopefully with a different carrier.
