I never used an auto shipping company before so I wasn't sure what to expect. After checking about ten other companies, I decided on Amerifreight because of its great customer reviews and ratings. I was pleased with almost all my communications. All were courteous. Jonathon was especially great to work with.
Only one complaint with this company but don't entirely fault them. Our driver was assigned and he contacted us for pickup. He asked us to wait up until midnight as he was running late. He never showed up and I was told the next day that he had cancelled.. The carrier's name was Azure Express. Amerifreight promptly found another carrier but he was unable to pickup until 3 days later. This one was reliable but I tried to explain that I paid for a 2 day pickup window and it ended up being a total of 4 days. I got nowhere when I complained and was ready to call someone higher up until I read the contract again. About the only thing I could do was to cancel the contract since they never really guaranteed anything. I guess they are somewhat at the mercy of the auto carriers. This is the only reason that I didn't give a 100% rating. I would definitely go with this company again but would not start off with the economy rating.
