I was unsure on how to handle transporting a car to my father. He was unable to fly here and pick it up and I was unable to drive it to him. So, we decided to check into shipping it. Wow, the people at Amerifreight were awesome.

First of all, they were normal. I could tell that they were not trying to hustle me into something. I felt like they were the only company that I could trust out of all the ones that contacted me. We were on a budget and David was willing to work with us. I explained that it could sit here for a while as long as it was delivered in the next month or so.

After waiting a week, the driver called me to tell me that he would be picking up in two days. I was happy it happened so fast.

When he arrived, he informed me that it would cost my Dad $550 at drop off. I was upset because I figured I had been scammed. They had told me that he would pay $500. I was bummed, but let him take it anyway. I called David at Amerifreight. He contacted me immediately. He said that they sent me an e-mail stating that THEY were going to pay the driver an extra $50 since it had not been picked up yet. So, they only charged me a fee of $125 up front. Wow, what service!!!! I checked my e-mail and they had sent me one informing me that they were taking $50 off their commission to get the car picked up!!

I was so impressed with their honest approach. I had a contract and knew what to expect.

I had never transported a car and would only use Amerifreight if I ever need to again. I am a regular person. Do not let anyone tell you different. Be careful. There were a lot of snake oil salesmen. However, this is an honest, trustworthy company.
