I'm happy with the customer service of Amerfreight and pickup date and delivery date was sooner than I expected, however, I cannot give 100% satisfactory rate because both the pickup time and delivery time was 7 hours delayed, and the driver and the carrier failed to continuously inform me about the approximate hours of delay, so I ended up waiting for the whole day for both the pickup date and delivery date. Most of all, I was not too happy about the delivery time.

I shipped my car on Wednesday, and they told me the delivery takes about 7-10 days. so I booked a ticket to the destination and would arrive on Tuesday night. Then, the driver called to tell me that the car will be arrived on Monday night or Tuesday morning. However, I told him that I won't arrive to the destination until Tuesday night and he was able to adjust his schedule for me, which was nice. They assured me that the car will arrive on Tuesday night so I didn't need to rent a car at the airport. Then the carrier boss called before my departure on Tuesday to tell me to call the driver as soon as I landed because he would be there at 8pm. When I landed at 8pm, the boss called again to inform me about the delay, but he estimated that the delay would be 1 hour. When I called the driver an hour later, he told me he would be late, and the boss told me that the driver will arrive at 11pm instead. I called them since 11pm, but both driver and the boss did not pick up the phone until 12:17am, and the boss told me that he failed to reach the driver but last time he checked with the driver, he was only 30 minutes away from the pickup destination. At 1:00 am, the driver finally picked up my calls, and he informed me that he was still 1 hour away from the destination and because something came up, so he hasn't left the place since we talked at 8pm when I landed. Throughout all these time, I had already informed both the driver and the boss about my inconvenience and that I needed the car by Tuesday because I needed to get to somewhere the next day. The driver finally came at 3 a.m.

I understand the fact that sometimes the drivers might get caught up with things and they needed to fix it on the way in order to assure that the cars can be picked up without damage. But the driver could have the decency to call me to inform me about the estimated hours of delay so my friends and I could have gone to bed earlier and wake up when the driver arrived rather than waited for him until 1 a.m. and ended up rest-less. Not to mention that my friends need to work the next day. Also, the boss lied to me that the driver was only 30 minutes away last time he checked with the driver, while the driver was actually at the same place. All other services was great, but I wish that they could have called me to continuously inform me about the delay so I wouldn't have to waste the whole day on waiting. Overall, I gave the service 4 star
