We were very happy with the service from Amerifreight. They were very prompt on setting up delivery.
We were not happy with the delivery company. The truck was to be delivered on Monday Dec. 13th. The driver called Friday Dec. 10th and said he was having mechanical problems and if he couldn't deliver the truck on Saturday Dec. 11 he wasn't sure when it would be delivered. We said Saturday was fine and he said it would be between 12 - 2. My boss came to the business and waited for 2 hrs. at the appointed time, but no truck was delivered. He called the driver and left a voicemail, but never received a call back. Apparently the driver went home and didn't call to say he would not make the Saturday delivery. Then he called on Monday and said he would try to deliver that week. He ended up delivering Tuesday Dec. 14th. Not very good communication about the cancelled delivery. He said he got the message on Saturday from my boss, but didn't return the call.
Amerifreight found out there was a problem and worked to fix it. They offered to have another company pick up the truck, and they also contacted Choice Carrier about the issue. I was given another phone number to call directly to the company if we had any more issues.
