I am in the military and was stationed in Korea for a year, during that year I had my truck stored at my parents house in Louisianna. When my time in Korea was almost up, I called Amerifrieght about two weeks prior to me leaving thinking it would allow enough time to get the vehicle picked up and delivered. I did an online qoute through their website and it was resonable so I called Jasmine who was the one on the qoute to call and confirm. I tried to call numerous times throughout 2 days and left messages to call back with no luck (should of been first hint.) Then I sent her an email, she gave me her cell phone to set up all the paperwork and make the deposit (which was $215? which I now realize is wayy to high) Either way I paid her the $215, she was very nice and said "everything looks good, the majority of our vehicles are picked up within 5-7 days with a few days give here and there, which was fine given my situation. So two weeks pass and I finally leave Korea and head to Nevada, have not heard a word from Jasmine, I email and ask the status and all I get is "I was just looking at a truck that might be able to get it, ill see what i can do and let you know" So back to waiting, and back to not hearing anything.,I would call and or email from time to time and same lies, "we are almost getting you a truck to move your vehicle. I forgot to mention I was renting a car while waiting and the weeks of waiting was too much I actually went out and bought another car. Finally on DAY 45 I call first thing in the morning and I talked to the receptionist (cant remember her name) and she said "oh thats weird your calling we have a truck that picking up your truck today!" I was excited as all heck as you can imagine!. She emailed me all the information and the truckers name/telephone number. I call the driver right after I get off the phone to find out what time he would be there to give my parents a heads up and he said "Hey I was supposed to get your truck today but Amerifright didnt process the information in time, i waited in the area but couldnt wait anymore, sorry.,(he was very nice, and understood my frustration but he said he was already a state passed my truck or he would turn around) he was in shock that I was waiting for over 50 days and suggessted I use a different company. So by now I am very mad and I call back, the same receptionist answers and I explain the situation, she said she will call the driver and call me back. About 10 mins later she calls back and confirms my story and said "I am sorry, I did the computer work but didnt call them and tell them to get the truck" So i am very mad now and ask to talk to the manager, she wouldnt give me his information or anything. I wanted to talk to Jasmine and she said she was on the phone and she would call me right back. Hours pass and I called 4 different times and she still wont answer. Finally I talked to Jasmine and she said "no its not our fault the driver didnt want to get the truck, you should give us more money and we will try to get a different truck" I was even more mad, I searched around and ended up finding the managers contact info Marius Lehmann, I sent him an email explaining everything, he had my email, cell phone and everything. Its now been over 2 weeks and he wont even call or write back?? I did forget to mention that every few weeks they would take $50 off my outragous $215 deposit which doesnt really matter, your still paying the same amount just more is going to the driver. by the end of this horrible experience, I was only giving amerifright $50 and Jasmine said "we are practically working for free for you!!! YOU SHOULD BE YOU OBVIOUSLY CANT DO YOUR JOB!!! I ended up ending this nightmare and many times they tried to say im only getting $50 back for cancelling which is what they were showing as my deposit eventhough I paid $215. Finally after a week of arguing I got it all back, THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH DEALING WITH ANY COMPANY!! This is all 100% true if theres anyone that wants to ask questions feel free to contact me, or if you work for Amerifright and want to make some generic comback go ahead, or you can contact me too if your finally ready to act like a transport agency and an adult.

We can empathize with the customer having to go through this very frustrating experience. AmeriFreight totally accepts the blame for how this shipment was handled and apologizes for the inability to deliver as promised. Although this is one of a very few incidents where the shipment has gone wrong from the beginning to end, it still is inexcusable. We will investigate in more detail why the order went wrong in so many ways and work on solutions to ensure that we try to reduce or eliminate recurring incidents such as this and another recent negative review. Unfortunately this affected one of our military citizens which makes it even more embarrassing for our company as we value their services highly and normally try to go beyond normal efforts to assist and accommodate them. Again our sincere apologies. We are proud to be a preferred shipper for our soldiers. Marius Lehmann - Owner AmeriFreight
