I picked AARP to transport my car from Attleboro, MA to Upatoi, GA on 12-14-2007 which was the same day $150 came out of my account for the deposit. The owner/manager/sales representative Diane emailed my us the contract and I signed it and faxed it back to her. On the contract it clearly stated my estimated ship date for my vehicle was 12-17-07. Days and weeks went by my husband nor myself heard nothing from the company. So we would alternate calling the company only to be given the run around for starters we were always told by Diane that she would call us back since she was always so busy but she never returned any of our calls. Then I would call to listen to the automated system and press either 1 for sales or 2 for customer after being passed through to Alaine also known as the manager/sales representative to be hung up on during my transfer. So eventually my husband and I figured out that our calls were being screened meaning that the only time we could actually speak to Alaine or Diane was when we did not call from our cell phones which were the numbers they had in their system down for us. So finally I got through by calling from a calling card to talk to Diane and I asked her what was going on with my car this was on 12-21-07. I told her that the contract stated that my car would have been picked up by now and nothing has happened. So she went with this spill about not being able to get into contact with the driver. So I asked her when does she think that she would hear something and se told me that if she was a psychic she would be able to tell me. So I was like wow this is the worst customer service ever. So I was in the car with my mom who was trying to tell me questions to ask about my car. So Diane got mad and yelled at me whoever that is talking in the back ground needs to shut up and mind their business. I told her that was totally uncalled for. She told me what did I want her to do she had not heard from the trucker. So I finally hung up with her and then my husband called her the next day from a house phone and she answered and she kept with the story that she had not heard from the driver. By now it was Christmas Eve so I figured that I should wait until the day after Christmas so I called from the calling card again and I guess she was in a good move and she told me that the driver was in Rhode Island and she did not know exactly where he was so she gave me his so called cell phone number. So after I talked to her I called the driver and as expected there was no response. So by now it is 12-29-07 and I had called the driver the past 2 days to have no response. So I called Diane on 12-31-07 and she kept going with the same story about not being able to get in contact with the driver. So I called her back and asked her was it too late for me to pay the extra $75 which would not have to be paid until delivery for me to have a so called guaranteed pickup date as 1-2-08. She told me to right it on the contract and fax it back her this was still on 12-31-07. I was told that she would call me when she received it and the day went by I heard nothing. So when I got to work on 1-2-08 I refaxed it her so they could not say that it had not been received. So I started calling them around 9:00am that morning until around 11:45am I finally got a hold of Alaine and she told me that everything was all set for the pickup. So the day went by myself nor my husband did not receive a call from Alaine, Diane, nor a trucker. So finally 1-3-08 my husband was fed up the car still had not been picked up so we decided that we should cancel the services. So I called for the last time from my calling card and Alaine answered I told her that we wanted to cancel our services and she told me to e-mail my cancellation notice to quotes@autorelocators.com so I did and she said that I would only receive $75 of the $150 I paid which was their administration fee for doing absolutely nothing and she said that I would get it in 7-10 business days. I am counting the days to see if I will actually receive $75. The invoice#1120216 was on the contract. I do think we should get a full refund because they did nothing but make our lives very stressful especially with me being almost 8 months pregnant. I just don't wish this on anyone else. Oh I just checked my bank account today 1-10-08 they did put the $75 back into our account but I do feel like we should get the other $75 also because they nothing what so ever.
