I wish I would have found this site and researched the better business bureau before I contracted this company. I suggest everyone do the same. They have a large amount of complaints for such a small company.

I contracted American Auto Relocation Professionals to move my 2003 Honda Element from my old address in MD to my current address in TX. AARP took out the $150 deposit on January 18.

After they received the deposit payment, they could not be reached on the phone and would not return calls when my wife or I left messages. Only by hammering their phone did we finally get through. When my wife asked when the expected pick date was for the car, the lady (Dianne) became extremely rude and hung up on her.

They were supposed to pick up the car within a week. On February 1st it was still sitting in my driveway 1500 miles away. I called to tell them that I would have to hire someone else if they weren’t going to transport my car or give me date when it could be picked up. They said we canceled on the 30th of January so we would not be entitled to the deposit. I did not cancel or receive any call or notice that they were no longer moving my car. When I called back to talk to Dianne about cancelling, she kept telling me she had me on tape saying that I had canceled. I asked her to please play the tape over the phone for me, she hung up on me and wouldn't answer the phone until I called from another number.

I wrote a long letter to my credit card company and faxed them copies of the so called contract. She didn't hold up her end of the contract, so I was not obligated to hold up my end of the contract and not "charge back" their deposit. Anyone who mislead by this company should do the same.

I hired Angels Auto Transport to move my car after finding out that they had canceled our contract. They will cost a few hundred dollars more, but they actually answer the phone when I call and call me to keep me updated.

Wow, This customer has decided to just plain lie out of spite. We went to pick up his car 2 days after his estimated pick up date, my trucker drove 80 miles out of his way only to be told that the car was NOT AVAILABLE! The customer then told my driver to just cancel the order. The driver called me upset and we ended up losing that spot and running with a spot empty, which is not good at all, all because of a fickle customer who now is spitefull over our cancellation fee. There is a $75 fee which applies towards fuel and time lost in this instance, when the customers credit card company agreed with us he posted this review, packed full of lies, it's truly a miscarriage of justice!!
