This customer, when they booked, agreed to an estimated pick up date for a lower cost than if they had chosen guaranteed. The order was booked with a 7 day window starting on thursday, I had a truck scheduled to be there on Tuesday, well within the estimated window. The customer booked with another company without cancelling with us, so my driver made a trip for no reason. I explained that the cancellation fee could be applied to any future move and I also mailed out a 15% discount on any future shipments in an attempt to appease the customer. We are sorry we could not assist the customer in the manner they needed.
