I used this company on the recommendation of the seller of my car. They promptly charged me $150 for deposit and found a driver, I signed contract on "Hello Sign" The driver never showed up to pick up the car, I had to call him to ask what was up, no one called me. He told me he had decided not to pick up the car (a 1959 Imperial). I never heard anything from Chris or Angela or anybody else at American Auto Transport. They never called me to say that the driver didn't pick up the car and will not return any of my phone calls. I called and left messages over the course of several days.
Meanwhile my car is in limbo, no driver, no response from American, and they have my $150.Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I own over 20 vintage cars and have had many cars transported throughout the US, more cars than most people. .I have never had a company leave me hanging like this, nor have a driver just not show up and flake out. As a rule I don't work with brokers if I don't have to and this just confirms it. Don't use this company, if something goes wrong like it did in this case you'll get more help from a brick wall.
