Like most of you I had never transported a car before. My daughter had recently bought a car, then got a job in California. I didn't trust the transport websites so I contacted my car dealer for a transport suggestion. He set me up with someone he knew, promising the car would go out by the end of the week. Every week, for 3 weeks it was the same promise, but the car never left. Finally, I contacted Tom at American Auto Transport. He told me that for what I was paying the other guy, he was shocked the car hadn't left immediately. He quoted me a price that was $400 less on a Monday. The car left, as promised, on Wednesday and arrived in California, after a holiday weekend, 2 days earlier than promised. I sent the extra $400 to my daughterto cover the cost of the car she had to rent while she waited.
