To anybody who's going to get a car shipped via truck transport : I strongly advise you never call this company as you will regret it. Unfortunately I didn't do my homework BEFORE I booked with AAT Inc.; had I done so then I would not have ever had the misfortune of ever dealing with this nebulous bunch of thieves. Like a complete novice I did a GOOGLE search for 'auto transporters' and of course AAT Inc. splashes up prominently on page one. Mistake! They claim to be BBB members in good standing but this is all lies - turns out they had their membership revoked! At least they didn't get to lose or damage my car as I cancelled my order with them three days after they were scheduled to pick it up. This after placing the order THREE WEEKS in advance. The pickup date comes and goes and NO word from them. I call them back and it sounds as though they're totally surprised and have no idea when they'll have a truck in my area for pickup. I explain that I placed the order 21 days ago blah blah and you couldn't tell me BEFOREHAND that there might be some kind of delay ? One thing that WAS on time was the VISA transaction; same day! So after three days wasted with these clowns I called to CANCEL the booking to which I was told about a $45. cancellation fee. No problem I say just DO the cancellation. I have to make other plans as the car's scheduled for a show which it will NOT make because of these idiots. More calls about the VISA credit and it's the old 'you're check is in the mail' blah blah blah. So now I've let VISA take up the dispute for my refund. Had I discovered www.transportreviews.com before I wasted all this time it would have been SO easy as these guys ( AAT Inc. ) get the reviews they deserve. Terrible. CAUTION! DO NOT USE!
