Never thought I'd be writing a review for transporting a car, yet here I am. Bought my son a car and needed to get it from Los Angeles to Amherst, Massachusetts. He did some research and told me it would be a few hundred bucks, then the madness began. Not only wasn't it a few hundred bucks, but the quotes were all over the planet. Finally settled on a company who promised to pick it up and deliver it for $799. They never showed, didn't answer their phone and when I finally did get them they jacked the price up to over $1200. Wasn't in the budget. Went back into the mass of emails I had received and lucked out when I got Mitch Chencin from American Car Transporters on the phone. He explained the process, quoted me $950, followed up, returned calls, didn't charge me anything until the car had been picked up and on top of that, I HAD TO CALL HIM TO PAY. When does that ever happen? I highly recommend Mitch and his company.
