Low prices, but no intent to pick up!

I decided to give American Pride a chance -- primarily because I was shipping a vehicle that I really didnt "care" much about. I was not concerned about damage or timely delivery of the vehicle, so I thought that a lower priced company would be an okay decision. What I did not realize was that American Pride probably never had the intent to pickup my vehicle. The quote was WAY too low (I know this now) and apparently this broker will not even be considered by most drivers. After wasting 10 days waiting for them to schedule a pick-up, I cancelled my order and requested a refund of my deposit. It has now been almost 2 weeks and my $150 deposit has still not been refunded.

Overall -- not very impressive. Don't waste your time with them. I went with Showroom Transport (www.showroomtransport.com). They picked up my vehicle within 4 days and it will be delivered here in NM tonight or tomorrow morning. Its unbelievable that Showroom was able to pickup, transport and deliver my vehicle before American Pride could even process a simple refund.
