I read these reviews before I scheduled my pickup. I thought only the angry customers posted responses so i figured there was a good chance that this only happens to a few people. I was wrong and became one of those people. I purchased a vehicle on e-bay and told the owner we would have it picked up in 2 weeks. Now over a month later I am renting a car and driving to VA to pick it up. When asking for a quote or offering more money for the pickup my e-mails were answered immediately. When I asked for a refund 2 days later on my 3rd e-mail request they answered. This company is unprofessional, unknowledgeable and I believe incompetent. I would highly recommend paying more and going with a reliable company. On a positive side for the company they did have a pickup scheduled on time. However when the driver when to pick it up he discovered that it was a 16ft box truck and he could not carry it. Either American Pride did not find out the size of my truck or they knew and did not tell the carrier. Either way it was their fault it was not picked up. Also when the carrier called American Pride and told them he could not pick it up I was not notified. The only reason I found out is a week later the day before the scheduled delivery I called to make sure the driver knew where to go and I was informed the vehicle was not even picked up. That was very professional. Anyways, if you want your vehicle to sit somewhere for a few weeks and hear a bunch of b.s. from "customer service" go with American Pride they will be glad to help.
