Before I chose an auto mover, I came to this site. I had already received several quotes from several different companies, and after reading the reviews on this site, was shocked at what goes on in this industry. So, I settled on Angels, a company who hadn't sent me a quote. They were able to accomodate me, and I needed to have my car picked up within 3 days. Fortunately, I didn't need delivered quickly, because it took 10 days for delivery. But, when it was time for delivery, Andre, the driver, was kind enough to deliver it to a restaurant where I was eating at the moment with my parents who were in town for the weekend. All in all, it was a very positive experience. When I talked about it afterward with my father, who has a lot of experience with auto moving, he was impressed at the speed, price, and the fact that there were no broken promises. Not to mention the fact I had set the deal up myself. So, all in all, I would recommend Angels to anyone and everyone trying to move an auto.
As an aside, there are websites where you can plug in the information to receive an automatic quote from several different auto moving companies. I did this (big mistake) and am STILL getting calls from people wanting to move my car. They call all hours of the day and night and are quite frustrated when I tell them I've already made the move. So, if you value your privacy, DO NOT use these automatic quote generators--they send your personal information to all sorts of interesting people!!
