I had never used an auto transport service before. The brokers (Angels Moving Autos) were very good and always courteous, once details were ironed out. I wish Angels could be more specific about when pickup and delivery is possible, but I now realize the schedule of the truckers they contract is beyond Angels control. In this case there were unanticipated delays after the trucker had committed to the job. But it did all work out, my vehicle arrived safely with no damage and I was only slightly frustrated with the timing because I was so excited and impatient to get my vehicle.

The more I learned about the logistics of this job, the more I am amazed it worked out. The truckers have to push so hard that their daily schedules are always changing. So its no wonder that delivery schedules can not be counted upon like Fed X or UPS.

The trucker was nice enough, but was not an especially good or thorough communicator. Once he was on the road towards me, I always called him first and he always called back. He never would commit to a exact schedule and now I understand why. When he arrived at my house, it was later than I had hoped and we had to unload in partial darkness and I towed my vehicle into my drive with a friend later still. But the transport got done, safely, on the budget I agreed to, with no damage, and considering the arrangements were all done "long distance", I am satisfied and relieved.
