Unhappy customer

I had never had a vehicle transported before this, so I didn't know what to expect. I was told by the company that my vehicle would be picked up between the 7th and the 10th of the month, that the driver would stay in contact with me during the days of transport, and that the driver would deliver my vehicle from door to door, provided that there were no low-lying trees, or hazards to the driver and his carrier itself. My vehicle was not picked up until the very last day possible, and the driver never contacted me about the pickup time, until AFTER I had called him 3 different times and left messages. He would never give me a definite time for pickup, but proceeded to tell me that it would not be "late at night." Well, he didn't pick up my car until 11:00 p.m., and then he would not drive to my door as promised. I told him several times that there was an open road with lots of room to park his rig and there were no trees to be bothered with. He still made me drive to the nearest mall parking lot to drop off my car. Then, when I did attempt to drop off the car at that late hour, he wanted to have a conversation about his sick relatives. He didn't deliver my car until the very last day, and again, he delivered it at 11:00 at night; and again, he wanted me to drive about 20 miles to meet him. I would never use this driver again. The company may be great, but the driver sucked.

After reviewing the notes in this order, I did not find anything wrong with it. First, the driver did pick up on the "last day possible", we said 1-3 day window for pickup, and we honored that on the 3rd day! Next, the driver asked the customer to meet her at the parking lot because it was well lit and it helps with the inspection of the vehicle, her driveway is not lit up for a clear inspection. The customer also had the option to wait til the morning to receive the car. The mall was not 20 miles from the residence, it was 8. Once again, she could have waited til the morning and received it in the light at her home. Our driver spent the night there in Washington. As far as the customers phone calls go, she could always call us for an update, the drivers only answer phones or return calls when they are stopped. We kept this customer informed the whole time where her car was in transit. Also, Michelle Gay's car was not late. It was delivered exactly in the window of time she was quoted. Michelle has a right to her opinion, and we respect it. Her car was picked up on time, delivered on time, and delivered safely with no damage.
