I've transported my vehicle before and it was not as complicated as this was (the prior transport was Texas to Massachusetts, this time was Massachusetts to California). I didn't use the company I used before because I had forgotten their name.

The vehicle was scheduled for pick up between Monday Oct 15th and Thursday Oct 19th to arrive on or after Thursday Oct 25th. I called Angels Tuesday Oct 16th because I hadn't heard from them or a carrier about the vehicle. I was told that they had not found a carrier in my area yet to pick up my vehicle. I then heard from them that following Friday or Saturday that it was going to be Sunday or even Monday (Oct 21 or 22). I then received a few follow up text messages of delays of picking up the vehicle. On Sunday evening, the driver called me and told me he would call me Monday morning between certain times with a more specific pick up time. He never called me within that time window so I called him. He told me "that afternoon" he would pick it up. Meanwhile, I'm at work and was patiently waiting for his call so I could leave work and meet him. Pick up never occurred until 7pm that evening. It was fine it was at that time but I was frustrated because I was working my whole day around leaving work early to meet him and I can't getting subsequent calls from him in the evening and the time frames he was quoting me were never accurate to the actual pick up time.

Because the vehicle was picked up late in Massachusetts, I had to rent a car in California. I made it very clear to the driver when he picked it up that I would be without a vehicle in California to meet him so the closer he came to my address the better. He was familiar with the general area of where I would be in California which made it convenient for ultimate delivery of the vehicle.

The delivery of the vehicle was somewhat similar to texts/phone calls under-estimating the delivery time of the vehicle. But, the driver was able to drive it to my door which was very convenient. He was also extremely courteous and friendly over the phone and in-person. Angels was also very professional and courteous over the phone and text.
