This is probably one of the worst companies I have ever hired. I find this company to be practicing bad business practices, makes authorizations without owner’s consent, applies their terms and conditions WITHOUT an approved authorization signature.
Now I’m sure the company is going to respond by saying I’m unreasonable, I called too much or some other untrue facts, but please don’t be fooled!
Simply put, the company is more concerned with answering the phone saying “Honey” or “Baby”
My Story:
On April 24th, Around 11:00 AM, this company called my cell phone to inform me that they could ship my vehicle today (April 24th) for delivery tomorrow (Friday April 25th). To reserve this I had to give them all my information, and Mr. X’s (my friend) information (the place where the car was supposed to be picked up in AZ, yet I did not know his full address so I told them to call him to find out his address). At this point, I foolishly gave them my credit card information because that was the “only way we can reserve”, bad company already. Anyway, they said they would take care of the rest. All I had to do was sign the contract to their terms and conditions and fax it back ASAP which I NEVER DID. Thankfully…
Approximately 2 hours later, I called to check on the status and Angel’s Moving Auto reported they called Mr. X and left a voice-message and no one picked up. I texted Mr. X and he said no one called him nor left a message. So someone is lying, I wonder who? I called Angel and told them to call Mr. X again and they said they would. I texted Mr. X again an hour later and once again he told me no one contacted him. I called Angel again and told them to contact him and they said they basically called and no one picks up. At this point, I embarrassingly told Mr. X to call Angel. I checked back with him in 30 minutes and he said they totally changed the plan around, would not pick the car till Friday (April 25th) and would not deliver till Monday (April 28th). Angels choose NOT to inform me of this change, I don’t know how they thought this was okay. AND THE WORST PART --I had to call myself and find out, they chose to go ahead and make a schedule without my authorization.
I called Angel and they put me on the phone with owner who said I was stressing, (very stressful job as heart surgeon of course) out my personal representative and said “She is in charge of some 50 orders” and can’t kept being called. (Interesting enough if someone is in charge of 50 orders, isn’t there a slight possibility they MIGHT forget who they called?) At the end, she said Angel couldn’t contact him and would pick up tomorrow (April 25th) and asked me if I would like to schedule at all with Angel, and I said Yes. At the end of the night, Around 1:30AM April 25th 2008 I e-mailed Angel’s to cancel my order entirely. In the afternoon of the same day (April 25th) I called Angel and called to make sure my order was canceled. They put me on hold, then transferred me to my personal representative ( I don’t know why) who asked why I wanted to cancel, and I said I don’t trust them and they have bad business practices, she stated that I would still be charged the FULL scheduling fee of $225.00 and they were protected by law. (This is part was rather comical) I told her, you don’t want to do this to me, I will involve my attorney (nasty guy, but amazingly good). But she was rest assured that she was protected by law, too bad I didn’t sign the contract.
So, in conclusion, after poor and no service, they still decided to charge me, I advised them not to, but they didn’t listen.
Currently:
1. I Filed a complaint with VISA and got my money back entirely
2. I Filed a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) for the company to be “black listed”
3. Although I didn’t want to, my attorney insisted to inform the CA department of transportation to revoke their license
Thankfully today, I’m in a position where I do not need to worry about money, yet I do not take unjust acts.
