I just received an email from Angels Moving Auto 5 years after I used them, asking me to give them a 5 star review on this site in exchange for a $25 gift card.

They did NOT pay me for this review and i'm only writing this review so others know this practice takes place.

Regarding my actual experience with my auto transport they were just average on all levels (except honesty since they pay people for good reviews). I would probably use them again in a pinch, but now knowing they pay people for 5 star reviews I'd probably use another company as I find that practice offensive.

Your review was rude at best. We are not paying you to post it, we are thanking customers for taking the time to rate us According to our records you told us your experience with us was "perfect". This review board has brought our sales down, because most companies are paying people to write reviews for them, we must remain competitive if we want to keep up. We are simply asking customers who had a 5 star experience from us to take the time to write a review. Offering a gift card is not payment for writing a review.

We will be sure to NOT contact you again.

Your review is a LIE, at best.

I received a phone call from Angels Moving Autos this morning. I'm unclear if their intention was to try to make me feel bad for writing this review or to try to get me to remove it (or both).

They explained they were a small family owned business trying to remain competitive with children to feed, etc. I can understand that, however, when I tried to explain that what I wrote was true and fair and that I simply disagreed with the practice of offering incentives for good reviews (for all companies, not just them) they went on to tell me that they hoped I was happy for hurting a small, family-owned business and that I would be judged before God.

Wow. I eventually got tired of listening and just hung up. I certainly did not expect all this drama over one review.

They also seemed to be under the impression that I have "gone out of my way" to hurt them. They were under the impression that I contacted the administrator of this site which is not true. I have never done that and do not know what they are referring to. I simply wrote this review, updated it with their email to me, then updated it again after their phone call this morning.
