Not a pleasant first-time experience

Unfortunately, it’s not been a very pleasant experience shipping my car with Angels (through Pioneer Auto Express Inc.). Here are the reasons:

1. The move took 13 days and I ended up renting a car in NC for more than I'd expected resulting in over $100 extra charge.

2. The truck driver did not bother to keep me updated on the status of the move. I'd to call him every time I needed an updated.

3. The delivery time kept on changing from Friday to Saturday to Monday to finally at Tuesday.

4. The truck driver stopped the truck and delivered my car, in the night in the middle of a busy street in spite of having given him instructions regarding a well lit empty shopping mall right across the street. The car was delivered in the night in spite of the fact that the truck was about 35 miles from destination at around noon time (The reason cited for the delay was a police ticket for driving over 10 hours).

5. For some reason, the driver wanted to drive my car for the last 35 miles from the place he supposedly received a traffic ticket. Though I'd asked him not to drive my car, apparently, someone drove it anyway, since, I noticed the car had been driven for over 50 miles from the last noted odometer reading.

6. The car looked dirty, which is understandable considering it was an open trailer transport. But, when I saw the car in daylight the next day, I noticed the car was not just dirty but had oil spilled all over the top of the car, including hood, roof, trunk and doors. I've had the car washed two times ($30) and still the oil spill won't come off. The rubber fitting have now started coming off due to the oil.

7. Once the car got a bit cleaner, I also noticed two dents on the car hood.

I failed to notice or report the oil spill, dents, mileage due to the time of delivery and the fact that the car was delivered in the middle of the road with other cars zipping past by me while I was inspecting my car.

Considering above, I believe, I ended up spending a lot more than I'd bargained for.

Overall, I'm not satisfied with the experience and wished the truck driver had been a bit more thoughtful and attentive to the customer’s requirement.
