Like so many others that have chosen Angels Moving Autos, I chose them based upon a combination of the price and the fact that they had the second highest rating on this site. Angels Moving Autos was not the lowest priced, but they agreed to match a price provided by another top reviewed company.

My initial contact with Christine was extremely positive. I loved her obvious knowledge and straight-forwardness. Over the next few days, I did begin to question my choice, when it took several phone calls before I received a return call.

The carrier they contracted with, Northwest Express, did give reason for concern. They picked up the car when they were supposed to, but only moved it and stored it at their own terminal. Angels Moving Autos had assured me this would not happen and I believe they were unaware this was Northwest's intention. Instead of leaving Dallas, TX on Tuesday as promissed to Angels Moving Autos, the car left Dallas on Thursday morning.

Fortunately, the route was altered (shortened), and the truck driver arrived in Northern CA late Saturday night. I met him 1/2 mile from my house (at a local grocery store parking lot) at 6:30am Sunday - where he already had my car off the truck. Other than the expected dirt and dust on the exterior of the car, the car was in the same 'as new' condition it was in when it left the dealership in Dallas.

Note: I highly recommend meeting a truck driver EARLY in the am in a large open parking lot. The trucks are huge and should not be expected to maneuver your residential street. Early in the morning, it's light enough for you to be able to inspect the car properly and most parking lots will be virtually empty.

Bottom line: Angels Moving Autos showed genuine concern and appreciation for its customer's vehicles and concerns. I believe they will think twice before using this carrier again, due to the fact that they 'stored' my vehicle for 2 days without informing Angels Moving Autos of their intention to do so. You may have to place several calls in the beginning, but in my opinion, it was worth the extra effort on my part.
