Don't call anyone else

Because my research showed that transportation brokers usually require some lead time to make arrangements, I contacted Angels after agreeing with the seller in Utah to buy the car, but prior to the seller's having received payment. Damned if they didn't call the next day wanting to pick the car up that afternoon! With some embarassment, I had to tell Angels that the owner would not have received payment by that afternoon. Once payment cleared and a question about the title was resolved, I called Angels again and, again, damned if they didn't call the next day saying the car could be picked up the following Tuesday afternoon.

The transport company's driver, Dennis, was a peach. In slightly under four days I had my little Alfa jalopy -- a toy to get dirty with in late middle age.

The women of Angels Moving Autos know what they are about and know their transporters. Don't call anyone else. I suspect that if they are overwhelmed with calls and business, they will tell you about the delay. Or, more likely based on my experience, they will want to pick up the car before you're ready.
