2 cars were shipped- Honda Accord 1998 and Honda CR-V 2002 in April 2009. I was moving from Seattle to Northern Virginia and had heard horror stories about auto movers. Quite frankly, even review sites seemed a little disingenuous. I contacted Angels Moving Autos pretty randomly. I called a few places, got quotes and decided to use the folks that seemed the friendliest as the costs were comparable. The ranges I got were $1600-2400. Most carriers were around 1800-1900.

Each time I called the folks at Angels, the person on the other end seemed friendly. They are a broker and shop out the contract. They ended up contracting with OK Auto Carrier in Federal Way, WA (federal motor carrier ID 545565)

They give a 2 day window for pick up and delivery. Expected transit time was 7-14 days. I got a call from the driver the day before saying the pickup would be around 12:00pm. No show at 12:00pm so I called the driver who apologized profusely as he was still in the middle of delivery. He told me he would arrive around 2:00pm and he arrived right at 2:00pm.

He spent about 10 minutes inspecting each car and marking all scuffs, scratches, dents etc. I was there taking pictures and video of the process in case something went wrong. The driver was a young guy, (I think his name was Dmitri) and he was very friendly and respectful. It took a total of about 45 minutes for him to load both cars. Although I paid for an open carrier, he arrived in a covered carrier. That was a bonus. It made me comfortable to see that my Hondas were among the dumpier cars he was transporting. There were a few nice sports cars, Lexus and BMW's. He told me it would be ok to pack some light things into the trunks. So I did.

Although transit was supposed to be 7-14 days (pick up was on a Wednesday), he called me on Saturday to say he was near Virgina and could deliver on Sunday night. I told him I wasn't ready and was fully expecting 7-14 days. So he delivered Monday morning and at my request, delivered to a DIFFERENT address than I originally scheduled with Angels. Because delivery was so early, our rental home wasn't available yet so I had him deliver to the place we were staying. No problems at all!

The delivery site was a cul-de-sac so I was concerned about his ability to back into it and suggested we meet in the huge parking lot of the church next door. But he proved his skill and backed in to the cul-de-sac.

My cars were in perfect condition. They were a bit dirty but I think that is to be expected. No damages, no extra mileage on them, nothing missing from the trunk. We had a total of 3 car seats for our kids in the 2 cars. No signs of tampering... no missing change from the ashtray.

I was very happy and impressed with the way everything was handled. Dina from Angels called me a day before pick up, during transit to give me an update and the day of delivery to get a status check.

I would gladly use them again.
