This is a scam company. I paid them a deposit to ship my non-running vehicle from Houston to Portland. Angel and the shipper gave me the dates to fly down to Houston, so I appropriately arranged my flight and hotel. On the day of the shipment, the shipper informed me that he did not have the equipment to load the vehicle and wanted me to pay a tow service to load the vehicle. Since I paid the "non-running" fee to Angel already, I asked them what I should do. They informed me not to pay tow fee and that they would find another shipper. I informed them that I have already arrange my trip around their commitments, and I needed immediate assistance. The owner of Angels (Deane) informed me that she fired the girl whom made the shipment error and she had the connections to easily arrange another shipper. My trust in Deane dwindled when I had to keep tracking her down over the next couple of extended days. On the fourth day after the failed shipment, I was informed by one of Deane's emplyees that she went on vacation. At that point, I asked them to return my deposit and moved my vehicle into storage. Now after paying a tow company and storage cost, I should have paid to have tow service fee the shipper wanted. Regardless, Deane promised to reimburst my deposit but apparently she spent it on her vacation because now she is saying it was my fault I did not stay in Houston longer than the week. This scam company cost me over $3,000 in addition to the shipment cost. My recommendations for those shipping vehicles; do not use these scam shipping brokers (especially not Angels) but instead go directly to the shipper.

1st things first, we have nothing to do with your $3,000.00 loss, it sounds like someone's mother did not teach you how to take responsibility for your choices. Mr. Bailey's recollection of the chain of events are completely different than ours. First of all, our office would never advise anyone when to buy plane tickets in regards to shipping a vehicle. We make it very clear that carriers schedules are always changing due to many factors, and would never ask a customer to make a flight arrangement in regards with a carriers schedule. Second, the company we hired had the correct equipment to haul Mr. Bailey's vehicle, they just were not going to be able to meet his 2 day window he gave them to pick up the vehicle. He demanded the vehicle be picked up while he was in Houston. We are very clear with each customer that we need a 5 day window for pickup, minimum. Mr. Baileys order was placed in August of 2006, we have not heard from him for 6 months until now. I find it amuzing that Mr. Bailey refers to the owner as Deane, if he spoke with me so much he would be able to at least get the name correct. Maybe that explains the break down in communication, he could have a hearing problem. I don't make it a point to bash people, but to state we are angels from hell tells me a lot about the individual who posted this review.
