First thing to say, our office does not take a deposit!!!!!
Our office received a written threat on Monday, February 12th from Mr. Watkins. Mr. Watkins letter stated that if we did not issue you him a refund of $175.00 by Friday, February 16th, he would post a 0 star review on this site and go to every length to defame our company. As the owner, I could have easily sent him $175.00 and avoided this negative rating, however, as a confident business woman I will not allow an individual to have control over what I might do concerning a customers order. I am not afraid of a zero star review, I invite all our customers to let us know what they think of our company.
Mr. Watkins statement of facts are not the same as those we have in his order. When he contacted us he was already very upset because his original transporter had taken 3 weeks and had not moved his vehicle. Our office worked diligently, and told him we would do everything humanly possible to get his vehicle moved. We contracted his vehicle to be picked up just 3 days after his initial contact with our office, however the driver was asking for $150.00 more to ship the vehicle than we had quoted the customer. We explained to the driver that this would be fine because we had made it clear to Mr. Watkins at the time of the order placement that the fee could be as much as $100-$200 higher due to the fact that he was shipping a very heavy SUV. He stated "I don't care, just get me my car". We dispatched out the order and then charged our $175.00 scheduling fee. At the time Mr. Watkins was put in touch with the carrier to make the arrangements for pick up and delivery he immediately went into a ranting and raging session of accusing our company of being like the first one(the one who never got a carrier). His recollection that our carrier cancelled is incorrect, they changed their pickup date by 4 days because they had some delays. Mr. Watkins stated he was paying the extra money for expited service and we were not holding up our agreement. Our company never has "expidited fees", we told him the price could go up depending on the carrier, they will sometimes ask for more money for heavier vehicles if their truck is full.
Mr. Watkins has tried every attempt to retrieve the money he paid for the reservation of the truck, but has failed at all attempts because his statement of facts above are not the same as the documentation in our office. Mr. Watkins order took place over 6 months ago, and he is now posting his negative comments because he has failed to retrieve his money.
