I had to ship my car (which was in excellent condition) from Dallas to Boston. I did a lot of online research and decided to go with angels because of the reviews and their cheap price. I had set low expectations in general for the whole industry though, because of the 'horror stories' that I read on this forum.
My quote was for $700, but when I called, I was told it would be 800 because the quote was too low. I told Stephanie that the online quote was $700, and she told me she'd get back if she got someone for that price. She called me 5 mins later and told me that she had many carriers going that route on the weekend (I was calling on a Thursday). I decided to go with a carrier that would pickup my car on Friday. She gave me the driver name and cell phone number.

On Friday, the driver didn't show up. I had to call him up and he said he'd be there on Saturday, since he was delayed in Houston. I got a bad feeling, thinking I'd have a bad story to share as well. But the driver did show up on Saturday, and he called me 2 hrs before he was coming. He parked right outside the apartment complex and my car was loaded within 5 mins. The driver (Ovi)and his assistant were both were well spoken and courteous. They did a thourough inspection of the outside of my car and I saw some minor scratches that I hadn't noticed before. They gave a receipt for that (I didn't have to pay them anything at that time).

I asked them when they would move out of Dallas, since there were 2-3 empty spots on the truck, and the driver admitted they would be leaving on Monday, since they had 2 pickups that day. My car would stay on the truck, though. The estimated delivery date was the next weekend (Friday or Saturday)

Since my car was shipped, I flew to Boston. I checked on Monday, just to be sure, and the driver hadn't left Dallas (he said he'd leave the next day), because the pickup had been delayed. I was a little apprehensive, but I couldn't do anything. I called up again on Friday, expecting that the truck would be in Boston, but the driver said his car had broken down in Virginia, and he'd be in Boston on Monday.

On Monday I tried caling the driver, but it went to voicemail, so I waited and then called up Angels. Dena immediately called up the driver and did a conference call. The driver was in Boston and he'd be there in the evening around 5:00.

He was there around 4:30 and he did give us a call 20 mins before coming. He parked on a street very close to my apt in Boston (since the street there is very narrow). The car was fine, except that it was a little dirty because of the bad weather and snow. I paid him in cash and he gave me a receipt.

I also had quite a lot of stuff in the trunk (like mircrowave, etc - not too expensive, just a little oversized), and that was there too.

So even though the pickup and delivery were 1-2 days off, the service was very good and more importantly the car was shipped without any sort of damage (even in this bad weather) and without anything stolen/broken etc. I'd definitely use Angels again.
