Let me start by saying that I looked and looked for an auto carrier that I would be comfortable with and the process took almost two weeks.
When I originally registered on line to be contacted, I had no idea I was going to receive so many contact referrals all in a matter of minutes.
I started by calling each referral to discuss price, service, experience etc.
I discovered there was a large disparity in pricing and a difference as to how I was being treated by each carriers representative, or should I say "Broker".
I also discovered there aren't to many brokers out there that own the transporters and broker themselves as well.
I did speak to a few Owner/Brokers and immediately became uncomfortable with their "I am, We are, Know it all walk on water attitude.
As I called each individual broker, I took notes on attitude, how they responded to questions and what type of references they were offering, since this was my first time in doing something like this, I wanted to make sure I made the correct decision.
One Broker I kept coming back to time and time again was, "Angels Moving Autos", and they turned out to be just that, "angels moving autos".
I worked mostly with a gal by the name of Karen and Dina the owner. They directed me to their reviews, where I saw a real picture of what the industry is like. Unlike other carriers I contacted who had nothing but rave reviews, Angels had the truth posted in their reviews and they were not afraid to post it, why, because it was the truth good or bad it was there and I respect honesty. I discussed some of their reviews in detail with Angels owner Dina, and having owned Big Rigs/Trucks in the past I knew she was telling the truth as far as some of the explanations given for some of the negative reviews and I greatly respected her honesty.
First of all let me say this, if your car is your baby or your treasured possession, then do yourself a favor and spend the few extra dollars and ship it enclosed. If you have always garaged your car, then ship it enclosed. Don't ever think that you are going to go with the cheapest deal and get the best service, because your NOT. Don't ever expect your car to be shipped thousands of miles on the back of an open transporter and it not to have some wear and tear for the worse, because it will, there isn't any way to prevent it other than to ship it in an enclosed auto transporter, this is just good old common sense.
Both Karen and Dina took the time to educate me on this as I had conveyed to them how precious my sports car was to me and that it was in perfect mint condition, bar none.
Angels pricing wasn't the lowest and it wasn't the highest, it was exactly where it needed to be and Dina proved it to me as her and I compared quotes together. When I changed from open transport to enclosed transport they didn't just go and double the price, they added accordingly for the type of service I wanted and needed. Remember these are the professionals and this is the business they deal in every day, so I figured, why not go with their recomendations as they knew what I needed better than I did.
My car was picked up in front of my home in Seal Beach California in two days, on time and as agreed.
The drivers name was Paul and what a fantastic driver he turned out to be. Not only was he a professional driver, but he had the utmost in respect for my concerns and the desires for my little toy to be handled in a professional manner. I watched as Paul loaded my car with the greatest of care anyone including myself could have ever provided. His transporter was clean, his equipment was in first rate condition and he especially was a true professional. Paul and I exchanged Cell numbers and he volunteered to keep me abreast of his progress as he moved towards my destination of Atlanta Georgia.
I suddenly had a change in plans and had to notify Paul that I needed to be out of the country for a day or two and could he please drop my car off last, which he graciously agreed to do and said no problem Mike, see you early next week. Upon my return I called Paul and told him I had just arrived back and he told me that was great and that he could deliver my car in a matter of hours as he was still in the general area.
When Paul arrived at my destination he had a load of extremely high end sports cars on board. I was not only impressed, but amazed as to the care he took in unloading my sports car. My car was delivered on time, not a scratch on it, no dirt, dust or drips of any ugly fluids, it was delivered in perfect mint condition, the exact same condition it had been loaded in.
Turns out that Paul transports not only privately owned autos, but high end race cars, collector cars and professional sports players cars all over the country when the teams are in training.
I honestly can't say enough good about my experience with Angels and their staff of professionals and the Transport company they set me up with, other than;
"GREAT JOB GUYS AND GALS, IT WAS AT DISTINCT PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH ALL OF YOU, AND YOU SHALL ALWAYS HAVE MY RESPECT AND GET MY BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE".
In conclusion I just want to sat that I highly reccomend Angels Moving Autos !!!!!!
