She disappointed me.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews, comparing quotes, and seeking all who had auto transport experience. I settled on Around The World Auto Carriers primarily because of the good reviews, their quote was comparable, but the reviews about Krystal sold me. I'm a realist, a (x2) times two (+1) plus one kind of guy. I called and set up a pickup with Krystal on a Thursday evening. She told me it that the vehicle would be picked up by Friday, Saturday at the latest. I wasn't going to get frazzled about the actual pickup until it had gone past a week. She finally called on a Monday and let me know the vehicle was dispatched. I was excited to here from her! Remember, I chose her because of HER reviews. However, she indicated that the driver wanted more money. I acknowledged and accepted the additional fee over the phone. The next day, I looked at my quote form. I found that the fee I was to pay the driver was unchanged, but what had changed was the deposit; it had been raised by $50.00. I wasn't frazzled about the money. I expected a $20-$50 increase, but I was bent out of shape about not getting a explanation. I called and sent emails, but to date, have not received a response. The lack of response and explanation was disappointing. What made the whole deal even more horrid was that the person I was getting the car from decided that they didn't want to give it away, although it hadn't been started in 3 years. I was fortunate enough to catch the driver, who was 2 hours away from pickup, and turn him around. He was a sport I wasn't looking for a refund because the vehicle had been dispatched. Except for the voicemails and emails that have been ignored and not returned, I got what I expected from Krystal and Around The World Auto Carriers. I would most likely call her again and arrange a transport...if she promises to answer the phone and not to leave me flapping in the wind.
