Poor Customer Service and Failure to Deliver

I called Assurance on 25 May10 I was ensured that my vehicle would be picked up prior to my move from SC to NV, which was taking place on 4 June. After waiting a few days and not hearing from anyone I started calling and was told that ALL of the drivers were on the west coast traveling back to the east coast and they were waiting on paperwork to be returned to find a reliable driver. This conversation went on for several days as I continued to call and check on the status of my pick up. I left SC on a Friday and left the car with a friend because I was told that my car would be scheduled for pick up over the weekend - at the latest that Monday. On Monday I was told at the latest Wednesday. Thursday arrived and my car was still sitting in South Carolina as I entered the state of NV. I cancelled the order and was told that I had to wait 10 business days to receive my $150 refund, which by the way was immediately withdrawn from my account on the day that I placed the order. On the 11th business day I called to check on my refund which I had not received and was told that I would receive a receipt and the refund that day. Well, I received the receipt through email, but no deposit. I called and was told that my refund had been processed that day and it would take time to post to my account. Of course I questioned and wanted to know why my refund was just now being processed when I cancelled my service with them over two weeks ago! The individual that I spoke to was very rude and when I asked about receiving my credit in the proper allotted time I was told "Look lady, you got your money back - what do you want me to do - go back in time?" Moving is stressful enough but to have to deal with this type of customer service is ridiculous! I ended up using a different company that was able to pick up and deliver my vehicle in the same amount of time that I am waiting on a refund from these clowns!
