Based on several replies/quotes to having our son's vehicle transported from California to Washington State, I chose Atlas Auto Shipping largely due to the cost and the representative, Patricia East. We made all of the arrangements, our son paid the deposit. We were told 1 to 4 days for the actual pick up. Our son, along with his wife and infant daughter are presently due to leave for Japan in early Nov. My son is serving in the Air Force. His family was coming to our home for vacation prior to their relocation overseas.

The scheduled time for pick up did not happen. Our son eventually canceled his flight (to our home) we flew the wife and daughter here as we waited for atlas to deliver on their service. Our son made arrangements to take the train home based on a promise of the car being picked up This now being the third broken promise. Well, they never had the car picked up. My son made arrangements with a friends pregnant wife to take the car (her husband is deployed) He informed Atlas of the new address for pick up (blocks away from his home) They assured us that they would get the car from this address, that never happened. While on vacation with us, our son used our car.

We are currently trying to get his deposit back....we are dealing with THEIR business protocols now as they will not simple credit his account back. He was asked to send an email for the credit, we did. They never got it! We were asked to send another email for the credit, I sent one. We have spent more time on the phone with these people then I spent bouncing my grand daughter on my knee during her vacation with us. This entire ordeal is now just about one month old......If I talk to these "nutballs" one more time, I will file suit against this company for what we have endured and the loss to my son as a result of choosing Atlas Auto Shipping. I fight businesses in court daily, it's my profession. This issue is becoming one of principle....You have been warned!

Patricia East is very good on the phone...but, I often had to call her to get any updated information. She never really had an answer as to why the break down in service. I wish I had never had the opportunity to know anything at all about this person. I teach customer service Patricia East could do well to sit in one of my classes. I say this because, just be honest when all goes to hell...be honest with the customer. It always works better then this rotten taste that I have in my spirit for Atlas Auto Shipping!
