I have mixed emotions about my auto transport experience. The rep at auto central direct was courteous,nice and available.I had no trouble ever getting a hold of him and he gave me multiple contact numbers The transporter or my vehicle was great-on time and friendly.The bad is that the quoted price was not what we contracted for. At the first pickup date the transporter calls my wife one hour prior to pickup and wants $75 more than contracted;she refuses and this is after I had talked to the transporter's dispatcher the day prior.So my pickup got delayed for another week and still I could not get it transported for the contracted price, so I was stuck. I feel as though Auto Central Direct should have worked harder to get me the contracted price that we agreed upon via the order.AND IF THEY COULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN IT AT THAT PRICE THEY SHOULD HAVE LOWERED THEIR COMMISSION.I really do not think it made any difference to them what I paid for the transport as long as they got their cut. I do not believe they really thought I could get it transported for that cost in the first place.They did a poor job represented the contract price and me,their customer, and should not promise something they can not deliver.I will not use them again but will talk to a transport company myself to avoid the self-serving middle man.
