No Schedule, no money back, no response

I paid Auto Rail Forwarders $1858 on July 31, 2015 for shipping a car from Vancouver to Ottawa. After I paid to the owner of the company called Gerry by email money transfer (Gerry requested me to pay him in this way), he had no schedule to ship my car at all.

I searched online (just google ”Auto Rail Forwarders”), I was shocked as so many complaints against this guy, even CBC reported a cheating case of Gerry. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/woman-says-auto-rail-forwarders-failed-to-deliver-vehicle-1.2627573

So I requested Gerry to ship my car immediately on August 6, 2015 (NOT 3 weeks before as Gerry said here), but I waited for another 10 days he had neither schedule nor response. I gave him so many chances to schedule my shipment but he simply could not do my job. (This is proved by one of his previous employees, see http://www.transportrankings.com/Auto-Rail-Forwarders-13524.htm) As I was sure this guy could not do this job I cancelled the service on August 19, 2015 and requested him to refund my.

However, no refund no response at all. I had to get police to investigate, get BBB Nova Scotia to push him, and reported it to media, but he simply does not send my refund back. He said here that “the Client is being refunded” on September 3, 2015, but nothing back to me up to today!

I had get our lawyer involved a few days ago and informed Gerry that my lawyer said Auto Forwarders is illegal not to refund me in full amount. This was what Gerry replies: “Your lawyer must be pretty stupid!”

What a rude guy! I cannot believe that there is such a fraud business existing in great Canada!

The Client cancelled the order we had arranged everything for the client... booked and paid for space and then he wanted a full refund.. after all we would have made the time frame requested for transit .. but he cancelled... This order cost us... a full rail spot.. Who's not reading there contract....it is clearly spelled out in black and white and signed by the customer... We move over 1000 vehicles per year and less then 1 % complain... and those are the ones who like to think that its all our fault... Unbeleivable... thank you management
