Beware. If you're a trucker, contractor, or customer: never do business with Gerry. This business is run by a Gerald "Gerry" L. Giovannetti. He is the owner and only employee of this company. He was no other employees, equipment, trucks, train or ships, despite what he may say. I say this because he will lie about all of these at some point, when speaking to a customer. On top of this, he has been banned from receiving tips from Moveit.ca, banned from the Halifax port, and banned from LoadLink, all services that shippers use. Take this into account. Just as a preface: Gerry will (and has) claim any review of his business was not made by a customer, so beware. Look up other reviews to see an example of this in action. Gerry will make up any story and excuse he can to discredit anyone that reviews him. Gerry will do everything in his power to prolong the procedure as much as possible. If you cancel, he will say there is a $500 fee for cancelling. He will never refund you and if he does ship your car, it will be weeks to months late. Look up news articles on him. Another note: Gerry is judgement proof. His company can't be sued to recoup any losses on your part. He will take your money and you'll never see it again. He habitually bankrupts or dissolves his company and goes under other names, such as Motor Vehicle Shipping, Giamac Inc, WW Transport Solutions Inc., etc. This allows him to continue scamming people over and over. Shipments will get delayed, there will constantly be promises of impending shipment and then more excuses when it doesn't actually happen. Gerry will always make up some excuse that sounds plausible, but he will never provide evidence of any of these. Here are facts about my interactions with Gerry: - Gerry continuously and consistently delayed shipment, citing delays due to a myriad of reasons, but could (a) never substantiate these reasons (always ask for evidence), and (b) it would later become obvious these reasons were lies, some examples are: - Claiming there are delays due to not being able to find a truck to ship the vehicle, when in reality it was impounded by a tow truck driver since Gerry does NOT pay any people he contracts. - Claiming there are problems with paperwork, when in reality Gerry has not contacted the appropriate people to deal with ANY paperwork related to transporting the vehicle. - Claiming there are delays due to truck or driver problems, when in reality it's due to Gerry not paying the long haul shipping companies as well. I was in contact with one of those companies and that's exactly what Gerry did to them

Well A response to this Client. First off we have had the same name AutoRail for 35 years we ship over or close to 1000 units per year.. and everyone in the industry gets bad reviews. Our other company is for Over Seas and inter State Moves.. This client thinks he knows it all... We have been in Business for 38 Years, If we are so bad , then why is it that we Have a contract with the RCMP.... We would be more then happy to provide anyone our contact person with the RCMP to share lite on our Services with them.. Let me leave it at that... However.... Lets tell you are side... which he has not..... This client, is upset ,because he was shipping a vehicle to the USA, with out proper documentation to the USA... we as well suspected he was shipping Drugs in the 20 year beat up old vehicle and was delayed .for investigation. so he is soar grapes.. As well there were red flags of his status with Customs... . Plus due to Covid we - everyone in the industry are delayed. We have many clients who we would be able to provide references and as well our interline shipment owner operators, This client is one of those who doesn't follow terms and conditions, and will do what ever he can to bad mouth us,,, as well he received his vehicle . We Love to share references with clients
