The driver was prompt coming to pick up my daughter's car. However he made a mistake on the directions and blamed her for it. He wanted her to move the car over so he could winch it up on the truck. The car was inoperable and arrangements had been made for that (at $150 extra) yet the driver wanted her to to move the car. The car was parked on the street, and was completely accesible. My daughter had to push the car over to line it up so it could be moved. The driver's wife was nice enough to help her push it. Then their winch wouldn't work with it being jumped by another car. My daughter had to get her roommate's car and pull it next to the truck to jump the winch. This was on Friday. The driver told me, via phone, that he would deliver the car Saturday or Sunday. Sunday night the car wasn't there so I called him back. He had truck trouble and made it to Columbus OH, where his company is from. He needed a part from the dealership and couldn't get it till Monday. He said that he'd fix it the next day and he'd deliver it on Tuesday morning. Tuesday came and went without the car showing up. Several calls through the day to the driver resulted in left voicemails to the driver and no response. I finally called to the shipping company and they would try and reach the driver and they would make sure ithe car was delivered. Wednesday the car finally showed up. I could understand the truck mechanical problems and the delay to fix it. It was the lack of communication about what was going on and the lack of response on the supposed delivery date was most aggravating. My daughter should not have had to work so hard to get her car loaded when we paid extra for them to handle an inoperative car.
