ASG yes/Striker oh no

I've had great experience and communication with Danielle at ASG. She has and does go above the call of duty to provide the best possible customer service. The actual carrier, Striker Service, did not meet my expectations. I had to make repeated phone calls to them to find out when my car was being picked up. I would call them and they would promise to call me and never call back. I'd wait a few hours then try again and finally get an answer.
On Thursday Feb 12 they should have called me to let me know the driver was sick and would not be coming. I only found out through repeated calls on my part. Then I was told the driver would be coming around 4pm on Friday the 13th. It did not happen and once again, I had to make repeated calls to them and to ASG to get some answers. Finally a new pick up time and date was negotiated for Sat the 14th. After that the driver, Doug, was in communciation frequently and provided prompt and courteous service on pick up and delivery.
I would use ASG again, absolutely. However if the carrier is Striker then I would cancel. It only worked out in the end but I wasted two days of just waiting when it all could have been resolved with a PHONE CALL.
